Chanel has unveiled its first climate transition plan, with a strong focus on regenerative practices and the just transition.

The luxury fashion company has a target to achieve net zero emissions by 2040, and the transition plan unveiled this week details the actions it plans to take to achieve this. For instance for Scope 1 and 2 emissions, it includes actions to expand on-site solar energy and transition to electric vehicles, as well as sourcing more renewable power purchase agreements.
