Consumer goods sector reports sustainability progress despite disruptions

The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) has reported sustainability progress among its nearly 400 members, despite regulatory and economic headwinds in 2025.

The forum’s members include retailers like Ahold Delhaize and Tesco, manufacturers such as Colgate-Palmolive, and service providers in 70 countries. Beyond the group, more than 1,200 suppliers voluntarily undertook internal deforestation- and conversion-free (DCF) assessments last year.
