PPWR: high quality recycled fibre should be prioritised over virgin material

The start of PPWR is here and leading recycled cartonboard producer, RDM Group, welcomes the changes and wants to see PPWR driving smarter use of the resources we already have. Krzysztof Krajewski, the company’s chief sustainability and innovation officer says that where high quality recycled fibre can deliver similar performance, it should be prioritised over virgin material, extending the life of valuable fibres and reducing demand for new natural resources.
