Sustainable finance leaders unite to build new European independent rating champion

EthiFinance and ESG Book, two established leaders in the global sustainability market, have announced a transaction to create one of Europe’s largest, independent credit and sustainability ratings agencies.

Coming after the implementation of The European Securities and Markets Authority’s (ESMA) new sustainability ratings regulations, the transaction creates an independent European provider operating at scale across both sustainability ratings, credit ratings, data and analytics in a highly fragmented global market estimated to be worth up to $10 billion.
