Business for Nature will be heading to COP17 with a bold ask: governments must accelerate reform of fiscal and financial incentives to unlock investment, strengthen competitiveness and support long term economic resilience.

The organisation states that too many public fiscal and financial incentives continue to reward activities that degrade nature, while making nature positive choices harder to finance and scale.
