Microsoft denies ‘change in ambition’ around carbon removal programme

Microsoft has addressed speculation that it was pausing its carbon removal programme, assuring stakeholders that it has “not ended”.
In a statement emailed to CSO Futures, Microsoft Chief Sustainability Officer Melanie Nakagawa said “any adjustments” the company makes “are part of [its] disciplined approach – not a change in ambition”.
