Microsoft will purchase 2.85 million soil carbon removal credits generated from regenerative agriculture practices from Indigo over 12 years.

The agreement announced this week is Indigo and Microsoft’s third transaction after the tech giant bought 40,000 tonnes of soil carbon credits in 2024 and 60,000 tonnes in 2025.
