Investors into some of the world’s largest companies, including BP and Google, have signalled their intention to push for climate accountability at their upcoming annual general meetings.

Large shareholders such as Trillium Asset Management and proxy adviser ISS are concerned about potential sustainability backtracks at these companies, and have published notes indicating they will seek accountability at upcoming AGMs.
