UK and EU leaders from the North Sea region have agreed to jointly develop 100 GW of offshore wind power to strengthen energy security.

The Hamburg Declaration was signed yesterday at the North Sea Summit in Germany, in a context of geopolitical instability, rising energy costs and increasing climate impacts.
