The Retail Soy Group has launched a model policy to serve as a framework for companies to source deforestation and conversion-free soy – and is pointing to the limits of voluntary commitments like the Amazon Soy Moratorium.

The membership group – which includes major retailers such as Ahold Delhaize, Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury’s and Tesco – aims to support companies in continuing to advance deforestation-free soy purchasing, based on the latest guidance from the Accountability Framework initiative (AFi).
