A group of 68 fashion brands have published a joint statement asking governments to make circular fashion more economically viable through a range of policies.

The statement, co-ordinated by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and signed by the likes of H&M Group, Primark, Vinted and Zalando, argues that the multi-billion dollar circular fashion opportunity is being held back by a system that makes producing new clothes more profitable than repairing or reselling existing items.
